The school is a pre-school to 6th-grade unit divided into lower and middle school buildings on two sides of a schoolyard. The school has approximately 650 students. Position Description Support social and pedagogical work in a special needs group and after-school program, collaborating with teachers and resource educators. This includes providing social and pedagogical support during school hours, planning and implementing after-school activities, and maintaining continuous contact with guardians. Qualifications Requirements: - Post-secondary education in social pedagogy, behavioral science, or a relevant field - Strong relationship-building skills - Ability to create and maintain good relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians - Empathetic and attentive approach - Experience with low-affective intervention methods - Ability to handle challenging behaviors calmly and respectfully Key Competencies: - Flexibility and adaptability - Creative and solution-oriented mindset - Strong digital competence - Genuine passion for working with challenging children - Patient and committed to helping students overcome obstacles We place great importance on personal suitability.
