About this role
School Nurse 70%
Temporary Position for the 2025/2026 Academic Year
Byängsskolan is a free school in Täby with approximately 760 students from preschool to grade 9. We are located close to Täby centrum and are well-served by public transportation including buses and the Roslagsbanan railway.
Currently, we have a school nurse on staff providing clinical services, and we need to expand our resources to meet the needs of the school.
The Medical Intervention of Student Health (EMI) at Byängsskolan has grown, and presently four schools are included in our organization, overseen by the MLA/Operations Manager. School nurses typically work at their respective schools, but we collaborate closely and hold joint APT meetings.
We are now seeking a dedicated, flexible, and experienced school nurse for a part-time temporary position starting as soon as possible, until summer 2026, with the possibility of extension. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a stimulating school environment where the mission of student health is prioritized. The assignment is primarily based at Byängsskolan but includes some flexibility as support may be needed for colleagues at other schools, for example, during vaccinations or other temporary needs.
About the Role
As a school nurse, you will be an integral part of the school's student health team, collaborating with school management, special educators, school counselors, and school psychologists to promote students' health, learning, and development.

• Working proactively and preventively in collaboration with other staff
• Acting as a medically knowledgeable support to school management and educators
• Documenting in the Prorenata journal system according to current guidelines
• Participating in student health meetings and coordinating with external healthcare providers as needed
• Supporting students in discussions about health, well-being, and lifestyle

We Offer
• A meaningful job where you make a difference every day
• Close collaboration with engaged colleagues within EMI and student health
• Regular supervision and professional development
• Daytime work, Monday to Friday
• Wellness allowance
