About this role

**Description** Welcome to school area 7 in Centrum, which includes Landalaskolan 1-6 adapted primary school, Mossebergsskolan F-2, and Guldhedsskolan F-9. We are now looking for two student assistants for Landalaskolan 1-6 adapted primary school. The positions are temporary until May 31, 2026. In our school area, there are approximately 850 students and around 125 staff members. We have a good collaboration across the schools and leverage each other's strengths and competencies, supporting and assisting one another with both strategic and operational work in our activities. We have a shared student health team in the school area that includes the principal, deputy principals, counselors, school psychologists, school nurses, and special educators. Landalaskolan is centrally located on a hill above Kapellplatsen and Landalatorg. The surroundings are calm, and green areas are within a short walking distance from the school. At Landalaskolan, we know that children do well when they can and learn from succeeding; we see the relational perspective as a natural approach in all interactions with our students. **Responsibilities** As a student assistant in an adapted primary school, you will support students throughout the school day. You will work in a team with teachers and other colleagues to design and adapt teaching to meet the specific needs of the students based on the teacher's planning. Your mission is to flexibly, together with the team, find ways for students to reach their full potential, develop their knowledge, and gain independence. Since the school is newly established, we want you to be an active participant in the development of the operations through your expertise. **Qualifications** We are looking for someone who has completed a student assistant training program or another equivalent upper secondary education as assessed by the employer. You should have experience/knowledge in working with AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication). Excellent proficiency in the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. It is advantageous if you have knowledge of and can use sign language. You take responsibility for your and the group's tasks. You keep in mind those we are here for and their best interests. You do your best to complete all tasks correctly and follow up on the outcomes. You are friendly and helpful to others, even in stressful situations. You show respect for everyone you meet at work. You are inviting and positive. You work to ensure that each student receives what they need.
