The Children and Education Administration works on behalf of the Preschool Board and Primary School Board. The administration is responsible for preschool activities, school-age childcare, primary school, and adapted primary school. About Stensängsskolan
Stensängsskolan is a preschool through 3rd-grade school focusing on safety, community, participation, and learning. We actively work to create an inclusive environment where each student has the opportunity to succeed based on their individual conditions, both in school and in the after-school program.
Our operations are built on collaboration, commitment, and positive interaction. We are now seeking someone who wants to be part of our wonderful team during the spring semester of 2026. The position is a fixed-term employment (Jan-June) at 100% with a high chance of extension. Start date 01/07/26.
Job Responsibilities
As a student assistant at Stensängsskolan, you will work closely with one or more students to create the best conditions for learning and well-being. Your mission is to support the student in the school's educational and social environment, and contribute to a safe, inclusive, and positive school day. You will work together with teachers, special education teachers, and after-school staff to adapt and develop instruction based on the student's needs.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who:
• Is trained as a childcare worker, student assistant, or has other pedagogical education.
• Has experience working with children/youth with neuropsychiatric functional variations.
• Is calm, attentive, and has a positive approach.
• Has good collaboration skills and can work both independently and in a team.
• Is clear in their interactions and has the ability to create structure and security for the student.
