Jernvall School is located in southern Sandviken, next to Arena Jernvallen, Ferrum Arena, and Göransson Arena, where the school conducts its sports activities. The school is close to Storsjön and utilizes this proximity in its teaching.
JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an engaged and supportive teaching assistant who wants to make a difference for our youngest students in grades F-3. As a teaching assistant, you are an important part of the school's daily life and work together with teachers and other staff to create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment where all students have the opportunity to develop according to their abilities.
In the role of teaching assistant, you support students in their daily learning, both individually and in groups. You assist with practical aspects of teaching, ensure that students have structure in their work, and contribute to a positive atmosphere in the classroom. An important part of the job is to create security and build good relationships so that students feel seen, involved, and motivated. You work closely with teachers, special educators, and other staff to adapt teaching based on each student's needs and circumstances.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with a genuine interest in children and their development. You are attentive, patient, and have a knack for collaboration.
You have a completed high school diploma or equivalent, preferably in education, child and leisure studies, or similar fields.
Experience working in schools or preschools is an advantage. It is also a plus if you have an interest in football. You thrive in an environment where the days vary and where you can contribute to both teaching and social community.
Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required. We place great emphasis on personal suitability and your experience.
