Description
As a Teaching Assistant with us, you will work closely with students who need special support, both in teaching situations, during breaks, and in after-school activities.
You are an important part of the student's daily life and contribute to creating safety, structure, and joy in school.
You collaborate with teachers, special education teachers, and other staff to provide each student with the best possible conditions to develop according to their individual needs.
Job Responsibilities
As a Teaching Assistant, you work closely with one or more students with special needs, supporting them in both instruction and daily activities. You contribute to creating a safe and structured learning environment, help with communication, social interaction, and practical tasks during the school day. The work is done in close collaboration with teachers and other staff, and you are a crucial part of promoting the student's development and well-being.
Qualifications
- Education in childcare and leisure, teaching assistance, special education, or similar.
- Experience working with children and youth, preferably in adapted school or similar settings.
- Knowledge of neuropsychiatric functional variations (NPF) and low-affective approach.
- Attentive, responsible, and with good collaborative skills.
- Pedagogical approach and genuine interest in supporting students in their development.
Meriting:
