**Student Assistant, Grades 7-9**
In the role of a student assistant, your work may be directed towards individual students or a group of students who need support to benefit from education at the junior high level. You must be able to build trust with the student while being prepared to use that trust to clearly create structure in the school day. You have the ability to help provide students with structure and, in collaboration with the teaching staff, create a learning environment that enhances goal achievement. You are quick and have a good ability to provide feedback to the mentor and teaching staff. Good and ongoing communication with the student's guardians is also important. You may meet the student in the morning as needed and ensure they complete the school day. You have a low-arousal approach and are clear in your communication. You collaborate with teachers, student health services, and other relevant staff with the student's best interests in focus. As a person, you are flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility. You have a positive view of people and recognize each child's potential for development. You have the ability to work with others; to listen, show empathy, and respect. You are unpretentious and acknowledge and reward others' contributions.
**Qualifications:**
Child and Youth Program or equivalent education based on the employer's needs. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal qualities such as social competence, flexibility, and ability to collaborate, as well as a genuine interest in children and youth. We believe that this profession suits both men and women. We would also appreciate knowledge about diabetes.

Experience in similar work is desirable.

Upon employment, you are required to present a criminal record extract according to the Education Act (2010:800 2 chap. 31§). We encourage male applicants to balance the gender distribution within the workgroup. The position is a permanent employment at 85%, starting on January 7, 2026.
