We are now seeking a student assistant (80%) for Park School, starting in January 2026. Park School is a primary school (grades F-6) located in Glommersträsk, approximately 45 kilometers from central Arvidsjaur. In addition to primary education, there is also a preschool operation. The school has easy access to a sports hall and an ice rink, both of which are highly accessible. The school is situated in a scenic area, inviting outdoor activities. The position is a fixed-term employment covering the entire semester. Job Description As a student assistant, you will sometimes work with individual students, but there will also be occasions where you provide general support in groups or classes. You will accompany students throughout the school day, both during lessons and breaks, ensuring that the school day proceeds in a safe manner. You will be present to assist but will not intervene unnecessarily, allowing students the opportunity to resolve situations independently when possible. You will build a close relationship with the students to provide security in their schooling while maintaining professional distance. You will have a calm demeanor and communicate clearly. You will collaborate with teachers, student health services, and other relevant staff with the student's best interests in focus. As a person, you are flexible and have a strong sense of responsibility. Position Details The position covers the spring semester of 2026 (January 7, 2026 – June 12, 2026) and the working percentage is 80%. Qualifications You have completed the Child and Recreation Program or another education deemed equivalent by the employer. You are flexible, have good collaboration skills, and the ability to interpret signals and stay one step ahead. Personal suitability is of great importance. Upon employment, you are required to present a criminal record extract in accordance with the Education Act (2010:800, Chapter 2, Section 31).
