In your role as a teaching assistant, your primary responsibility will be to support students with various challenges and neuropsychiatric variations in their daily lives. This mainly involves being available for students during lessons, transitions, breaks, and meal times in both school and after-school care. In your work, you will ensure that students feel a desire to learn and are actively engaged in their learning based on their individual circumstances. It is important to recognize the different needs of students, take their individual conditions into account, and help them grow and develop. The goal is to increase students' independence and work towards inclusion to the greatest extent possible.
We are looking for someone with relevant training to work as a teaching assistant, who has experience working with children, and preferably educational experience to meet the student's needs for appropriate adjustments. Documented knowledge of neuropsychiatric diagnoses, good collaboration skills, a solution-focused approach, and low-arousal responses are advantageous.
The position is a fixed-term employment for the spring term of 2026.
