Job Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you need to have knowledge of electronic components (types, packages, and labeling). You should also possess good skills in soldering, testing, and general handling of electronics. Your tasks will include troubleshooting manufacturing defects through inspection. This will involve both machine and manual inspection of circuit boards under a microscope, as well as replacing surface-mounted components (desoldering and soldering).
You will initially be employed by Scania Bemanning and then leased to a client. For the proactive and diligent, the client company will become your next employer.
Requirements
• Experience with inspection using a microscope
• Experience in assembly/repair of electronic products
• Very good knowledge of electronic components
• Experience in soldering (soft soldering)
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Genuine interest in electronics
Meritorious
• Experience in electronics production
• Certified according to IPC-A-610
• Other IPC certifications
• Worked with SPI, AOI, AXI, or other automated inspection
• Previously worked at the component level, e.g., as a repair technician or service technician
• Soldering certificate
