Your Role
The area you will belong to is responsible for the electronics design of all products containing electronics. Your work will focus on PCB design, including both digital design for signal and image processing as well as analog design. As our advanced products are based on high data transfer rates, an understanding of signal integrity, EMC, and the selection of design solutions that meet the requirements is essential. Your tasks will encompass everything from requirements management to development up to the finished product. You will also have good opportunities to choose a direction based on your area of interest, with a clear focus on ensuring that our products have high reliability and, above all, function in demanding environments with significant mechanical stress and varying temperatures.
With us, you will work in project form and have extensive contacts with other technical areas such as systems, mechanics, and software.

The work includes, among other things:
- PCB design - analog and digital
- Analysis and problem-solving
- Interpretation and breakdown of requirements
- Support during testing and verification
- Specifications, design descriptions, and reports
Your Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics or equivalent
- Experience in PCB design and layout
- Experience in hardware design - both analog and digital
- Structured, quality-conscious, driven, and communicative
- Positive and enjoys working with varied tasks
- Used to taking initiative and open to new challenges
Meritorious:
- Experience with Siemens Xpedition Enterprise tools for electronics design and simulation
Your workplace and office are located in Karlskoga at the Dammbrokontoret.
The position may involve travel both nationally and internationally.
The role requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, there may be requirements for specific citizenship.
