Electronics Engineer - In-House Project in Västerås

We are now seeking an additional electronics engineer for our in-house team in Västerås.
Here, we develop technology with a production mindset at every step – from the first idea to the finished product. Our projects range from power and RF design, battery systems, and control systems for HVAC applications to smart, connected products. You will become part of a cross-functional development team where electronics, software, and mechanics work together to create solutions that endure – from prototype to series production.
About the Role
As an electronics engineer in our in-house team, you will work closely with colleagues in hardware, software, testing, and to some extent, mechanics. You will participate in the entire development process – from concept and architecture to prototype, verification, and industrialization. The work will take place at our office in central Västerås.
Example Tasks
• PCB design and layout
• Circuit diagram design
• Component selection focusing on cost, lifecycle, and availability
• Prototype development, verification, and troubleshooting in laboratory environments
• Contributing to DFx (Design for Manufacturing, Testing, Assembly & Reliability)
• Collaboration with production partners on testability, assembly, and quality
We Believe You Have
• 2-4 years of electronics development experience
• Experience with schematic drawing and PCB design (Altium, Cadence, KiCad, or equivalent)
• Good understanding of analog/digital electronics and embedded systems
• Practical experience in testing, measurement, and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and contribute to the overall development team
Advantageous
• Experience in electronics production and relevant manufacturing processes
• Experience in test equipment development
• Programming knowledge (C/C++, Python)
• Interest in power or RF design
• Experience or interest in Functional Safety (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, or similar standards)
