Saab Training & Simulation (T&S) is a world leader in advanced military training equipment. In the role of electronics designer with us, you will push the boundaries of what modern technology can achieve and develop designs used in extreme environments. Your work will involve participating in various customer and development projects, where you will also have the opportunity to visit customers and verify the systems on-site. Together with experienced designers, you will work broadly with both analog and digital, wired and wireless systems, as well as technology selection, system design, CAD, testing, verification, and documentation. You will be part of a comprehensive department with a strong focus on electronics. The team is cohesive and responsible for developing and maintaining the company's electronic designs, and as training needs around the world change, we develop new functionalities. To succeed and thrive in this role, we see that you have: - A Master’s degree in engineering or a qualified Bachelor’s degree in electronics or equivalent - Knowledge in digital and analog design - Excellent proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written For this position, it is advantageous if you have knowledge of RF, such as WiFi or Bluetooth. Experience with low-power designs and battery applications is also seen as a plus, as well as knowledge of FPGA design and embedded system programming.
