We're looking for someone who: • Has vocational training or equivalent qualification in electrical work, with strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills. • Holds safety certification, such as ESA or OSHA; crane or welding certificates are advantageous. • Has experience in heavy industry, such as steel mills, manufacturing, or mining. • Is familiar with Swedish and European safety standards and industry regulations. • Has a strong safety focus and ability to mentor colleagues. • Is meticulous, independent, and structured, but also enjoys collaboration. • Is physically fit and comfortable working at height and carrying tools. • Has good English skills; basic Swedish is advantageous. What We Offer If you're passionate about making a difference and contributing to a more sustainable future, Stegra offers a unique opportunity to become part of a dedicated and ambitious team. Here, you'll have the chance to shape the future of steel production while developing your own career in a company that values inclusion, collaboration, and personal development. We believe our success starts with our people – and together, we're building a greener tomorrow. • A permanent position in one of Sweden's most exciting industrial projects. • Competitive salary and benefits according to collective agreement. • 25 vacation days per year as per Swedish law. • Full relocation support, including assistance with housing, travel arrangements, and moving compensation. • Visa sponsorship where applicable. • Modern, purpose-built facilities in Boden focusing on safety, sustainability, and innovation. • A supportive and inclusive work environment where everyone is encouraged to grow and develop. Working in Boden Our facility in Boden is located in a growing green industrial cluster in northern Sweden. This is where we're building one of the world's most modern and sustainable steel facilities. With just a 10-minute commute from the center, you'll be close to both cutting-edge technology and everyday life in a community with a strong sense of togetherness. Your Application Studies show that women and underrepresented groups often hesitate to apply if they don't meet all requirements. At Stegra, we're building a value-driven and sustainable company – and we need a diverse and inclusive team to succeed. If you share our passion but don't meet every single qualification, we still encourage you to apply. You might be the perfect candidate for this role – or for another, as we continue to grow. About Stegra Stegra aims to transform the global steel industry by producing green hydrogen, iron, and steel – with the goal of eliminating carbon dioxide emissions. Instead of coal, we use green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity, which means our primary emissions are water and heat. Our ambition is to produce 5 million tons of green steel annually by 2030 in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable facility in Boden, northern Sweden – which is currently under construction. But this is just the beginning. Our expertise in green hydrogen will enable emissions reductions in other industries and pave the way for a cleaner future.
