About this role
We are now looking for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join the Electronics team within the Production Systems Hardware group in Lund.
Who Is Your Future Team?
In the production system hardware group, we develop hardware for new unique Axis production machines from concept to verified product. With each new generation of Axis network cameras, new challenges emerge for our production systems. For example, more advanced optics and audio, as well as new features such as radar and thermal technologies that are built into the cameras.
The Electronics team consists of four dedicated electronics engineers specialized in developing electronics and electrical systems for production systems.
What You Will Do Here as an Electronics Engineer
You will actively be involved in development projects with a focus on simplicity, scalability, repeatability, and quality for optimal production setup. You will be part of cross-functional project teams with other competence categories like software and mechanics. You will develop electrical design and verify and validate the solution. Additionally, you will collaborate and maintain close communication with Axis R&D department, suppliers, and our contract manufacturers.
The role includes:
* Electrical design of machines, including design of electric cabinets and cable harness design
* Selection of components such as motors, relays, sensors, and pneumatic parts
* Building and ordering prototypes for evaluation purposes
* Soldering and other practical work tasks on our prototypes
* The role may include traveling, mainly to our contract manufacturers, for approximately 10-20 days a year

Qualifications and Experience:
* At least a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or similar is required
* At least 3 years of experience in Electrical design for machines and systems is required
* Experience with the Eplan ECAD program is preferred
* International Production experience or development of production equipment as well as optics or metrology experience is considered an advantage
* Very good communication skills in English are required
* Good communication skills in Swedish are preferred
* Knowledge of CE marking is preferred
