Your Job and Responsibilities As an Economic Manager, you'll be part of our expert team and a crucial support for our customers. With your expertise, you'll provide significant support to housing associations and other customers in various property economic matters through advisory services, analyses, and ongoing accounting. You have good knowledge and the ability to be a reliable point of contact in customers' daily lives, always striving to provide an excellent customer experience. You'll have a varied assignment, working broadly in finance with tasks such as ongoing accounting, financial statements, budgeting, financial follow-up, and analysis. The role includes customer responsibility and contract renegotiations. Additionally, you'll work on training boards in housing association laws, our digital tools, and finance, as well as chair association meetings. Main Work Tasks • Customer responsibility for your own customer portfolio • Economic advice and support to boards • Ongoing accounting and reconciliations • Financial statements and tax returns • Budget work • Financial reporting and analyses • Conduct meetings and budget meetings for customers • Dialogue with boards regarding additional service procurement • Administrative tasks related to the area of responsibility • Educate and onboard boards in housing association laws, finance, and digital tools • Renegotiations Your Profile To succeed in the role, we're looking for someone with post-secondary education in economics, with some experience working in customer-facing financial roles. Significant experience in ongoing accounting, financial statements, annual reports, budget work, taxes, and VAT is highly meritorious.
