About the Role
As an Economic Controller, you will work with financial planning, monitoring, analysis, and reporting. You will support managers and administrators in budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing, ensuring that processes are carried out in a structured and quality-assured manner.
This role is not a maintenance position but has a clear focus on change and development. You will identify areas for improvement, follow up on routines and guidelines, and contribute to more efficient working methods throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
• Support managers and the organization in financial matters, analysis, and reporting
• Work with budgeting, forecasting, and year-end closing
• Follow up and develop financial routines, processes, and guidelines
• Actively participate in improvement and development projects
• Contribute to smoother and more efficient working methods
• Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed
We are looking for someone who
• Is communicative, unpretentious, proactive, and pedagogical
• Enjoys challenging established working methods and tackling educational challenges
• Is self-assured and can deliver in complex or changing situations
• Has experience with budgeting, forecasting, year-end closing, coding plans, and financial analysis
• Has experience working with various financial systems and can quickly adapt to new tools
We offer an exciting role where you can utilize both your operational skills and your drive for change to develop the finance and monitoring work within the organization. Previous experience in municipal settings is advantageous but not a requirement. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability.
Workplace and Working Hours
This role is a consulting assignment through Adecco for 6 months with the possibility of extension. The position offers the opportunity for hybrid work, where you are expected to be on-site approximately 50% of the time. Working hours are from 08:00 to 17:00.
