About the Job
As Head of Financial Management and Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority's (FI) work across several central areas. You have overall responsibility for operational planning, budget and follow-up, as well as preparing annual reports and budget documentation. You will also handle issues related to fees and fee reports, and actively work with internal governance and control, including conducting risk analyses. The unit is responsible for financial administration, ongoing accounting, regulations related to the unit's area of responsibility, as well as procurement issues and procurement rules.
In your leadership role, you will lead, support, and create good conditions for your employees' results and development, including through clear goals and ongoing follow-up. You are motivated by driving the operation efficiently and creating good working conditions and development opportunities for your employees. You have a coaching leadership style and experience in creating effective teams. We expect you to have a strong interest in leadership issues and in developing your role as a leader. We offer leadership training to give you the conditions to succeed in your leadership.
You will develop the operation strategically and long-term based on FI's overall goals, working for holistic approaches and collaboration across organizational boundaries. Together with your employees, you will support the agency's management with the decision-making documents and analyses needed to achieve operational goals and ensure efficient resource utilization. The role includes continuing work on developing and streamlining processes and support within your area of responsibility.
Your Education and Experience
We are looking for someone who:
• Has a master's degree in business administration or equivalent education or experience
• Has several years of experience working as a CFO, accounting manager, or similar role with personnel management responsibilities
• Has good knowledge of financial administrative regulations within the public sector
• Has strong competence in business development and change management, preferably with a focus on digitalization
• Has a good ability to express themselves well in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing
It is meritorious if you:
• Have leadership training and experience in change management
• Have good knowledge of Unit4 ERP (Agresso)
• Have good knowledge of procurement issues and public procurement law
• Have multiple years of leadership experience in the public sector, working at both operational and strategic levels
