Are you an experienced accounting economist or accounting manager looking to take the next step? At Duroc Machine Tool, you'll combine hands-on accounting with strategic responsibility. We are seeking a CFO who enjoys change and will play a central role in the company group's development and the opening of our new Experience Center in Malmö. About Us Duroc Machine Tool's business idea is to help manufacturing companies in the Nordic region with machines, tools, and accessories, production optimization and financing, service, support, and training. In short, we provide our customers with everything needed to create a competitive production environment and increased profitability. We are a thriving and stable company with a turnover of around 190 million SEK and approximately 30 employees, with several sister companies in the group. We are a pure trading company, with Swedish customers as our main market. The company has had strong profitability and good growth in recent years – and we are now facing a continued expansive journey, including building our new Experience Center in Malmö. We are now seeking a CFO with a strong accounting background who wants to help develop our finance function and contribute to the transformation we are facing. Your Mission As CFO, you will be responsible for the Swedish company's accounting, reporting, and financial management. The role includes both operational work and strategic responsibility to ensure correct financial reporting according to K3, as well as consolidated reporting to the group according to IFRS. You will be a key person in dialogue with the CEO, Finance Manager for Duroc Machine Tool Group, and sister companies in the Nordic and Baltic regions. Collaboration within the group is developing – here you will play a central role in contributing to common working methods and more efficient processes going forward. Your Responsibilities • Responsibility for ongoing accounting, monthly and annual financial statements (K3) • Reporting to the group according to IFRS • Lead and develop the finance department (currently one employee) • Drive improvement of financial routines, processes, and internal controls • Tax calculations and declarations (VAT, income tax, employer contributions) • Manage project accounting and volume transactions • Responsible for inventory accounting and contribute to efficiency of inventory management within the group, including the new warehouse in Malmö • Liquidity planning, forecasts, and ongoing profitability and cash flow analyses • Support CEO and management team with financial analyses and decision-making documentation • Be the contact person for auditors, banks, and authorities • Participate in strategic projects, such as system development, startup of new Experience Center in Malmö, and development of the group's working methods Who Are You? We are looking for someone with several years of qualified accounting experience who wants to take the next step in their career. You may currently be an accounting manager or senior accounting economist, but are attracted by the opportunity for broader responsibility. You enjoy being hands-on in accounting but can also lift your gaze and analyze the bigger picture. We prefer someone with experience working in an international group. You are meticulous and structured, but also solution-oriented and interested in understanding the business. You like change, want to contribute to development, and make business decisions that add value to our operations. We would like you to have: • Academic degree in economics/accounting or equivalent • Several years of qualified accounting experience, preferably as accounting manager/chief • Documented knowledge of financial statements and annual reports according to K3 • Experience with group reporting, preferably according to IFRS • Good Excel skills and experience with business systems • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written Location and Travel The position will be based in Malmö when our new Experience Center opens (preliminarily autumn 2026). Until then, you will be based in the Malmö area with regular travel to the office in Vislanda. Travel within the Nordic and Baltic regions is expected.
