About this role

Careco is facing an exciting future and is now seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee and be responsible for the company's financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and sales support in its continued growth journey. You will lead a finance assistant, be part of the new management team, and report to the CEO. The headquarters, including production, is located in Osby (with the possibility of working from Malmö). Careco Inredningar is Sweden's leading supplier of fixed furnishings for schools, healthcare, social services, and laboratories. **Your Responsibilities** As Careco's new CFO, you will play a key role in ensuring the company's financial stability, control, and growth. You will be responsible for ensuring that financial processes are efficient and transparent, and you will provide essential support to the CEO, the marketing and sales manager, and the production manager. You will lead and coach a finance assistant and take the initiative in establishing clear routines for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis—areas that will be central to our ongoing journey. You will also have overall responsibility for HR and IT matters and will engage consultants as needed. Your main tasks will include: - Overseeing the company's financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting - Monitoring results and key performance indicators, providing sales support to the sales department - Developing calculations related to production/customer quotes/orders/projects and follow-up - Ensuring accurate accounting and preparing monthly and annual financial statements - Managing cash flow, liquidity planning, and tax matters - Actively participating in the management team and contributing to strategic work **Who Are You?** We are looking for someone who thrives in an operational role with significant responsibility but also wants to influence the bigger picture. You are structured, confident in your expertise, and accustomed to driving issues forward. You are analytical yet communicative, with the ability to explain figures and create understanding within the organization. You are willing to stand by your opinions but do so with humility and attentiveness. We would like you to have: - Experience as a financial manager, accounting manager, or similar role within a manufacturing environment - Strong knowledge of accounting, reporting, and analysis - Experience with budgeting and forecasting - Excellent skills in Excel, financial, and payroll systems (we use Monitor and Visma) - Relevant education in finance or equivalent experience **We Offer** At Careco, you will have significant authority to influence and the opportunity to develop the company alongside a driven and forward-looking management team.
