About the Role
As Finance Manager at Andean PM, you will be responsible for leading and developing the company's financial reporting and accounting in Sweden. You will ensure that financial reports are prepared in accordance with both Swedish accounting standards and IFRS, with the aim of meeting regulatory requirements and the group's consolidation needs in Toronto.
You will work closely with both Swedish and international teams and have overall responsibility for ongoing accounting, including inventory changes, accounts receivable and payable, payroll, and currency management. You will prepare monthly and annual financial statements, actively contribute to budget and forecast work, and analyze the company's financial performance. The role also involves contact with external auditors, banks, and authorities.
You will play a crucial role in developing and improving financial processes and systems, and contribute to creating an efficient and transparent finance function that supports the company's strategic goals. This includes being the driving force behind implementing the company's ERP system.
The position is located on Kungsgatan in Stockholm, and you will report directly to the Swedish Country Manager.
We Are Looking for Someone Who
Holds an academic degree in economics, with an accounting qualification being advantageous. You have at least five years of experience in accounting and a good understanding of both Swedish accounting rules and IFRS. Experience in the mining or commodities sector is highly meritorious.
You are experienced in financial reporting, have excellent Excel and accounting system skills, and communicate fluently in both Swedish and English. You are analytical, structured, and able to work both independently and in a team. Spanish is a plus but not a requirement.
