About the Role
As Chief Financial Officer, you will have a central and strategically important role. You will lead and work with the finance and payroll functions, ensuring structure and quality in accounting, and provide business-oriented support to the CEO and management team.
This is a role where you will manage operational finance while driving analysis, controlling, and improvement work. You will help the organization understand numbers, see connections, and make wise decisions – always with the business in focus. The position is based in Mellerud.
Your Main Responsibilities
• Ensure monthly/annual financial statements, reporting, and audits
• Budgeting, forecasting, and liquidity planning
• Controlling and business support: calculations, profitability monitoring, KPIs, and decision-making support
• Drive improvements in processes, routines, and reporting packages – closely with production, purchasing, and sales
• Overall responsibility but also operational involvement in payroll processes and personnel administration, as well as contacts with authorities, banks, and auditors.
About You
You are confident, analytical, and business-minded, thriving in a role where you can combine precision in numbers with operational dialogues and development work. You enjoy understanding flows, products, and business logic, and you build trust through your clarity, curiosity, and unpretentious style.
You need to have:
• Experience as a CFO, accounting manager, or controller – preferably in the manufacturing industry
• Good knowledge of accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
• Strong analytical and controlling skills
• Interest in systems and experience presenting financial data
• Experience in payroll processes and personnel administration
• Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is an advantage if you have experience with systems such as Rillion, Visma, and Agda.
