The Finance Department is part of the Municipal Executive Administration. The Finance Department is a management resource for elected officials and aims to exercise group management, ensure the municipality develops with long-term sustainability, and offer citizens high-quality service.
WORK TASKS
As a Finance Assistant, you will be a crucial support in daily accounting work within a diverse work environment.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
• Ongoing accounting and reconciliation
• Invoicing and financial administration
• Support in year-end closing processes
• VAT reporting
• Internal control
You will work closely with a friendly team of economists and a procurement specialist who together comprise the municipality's central finance unit.
QUALIFICATIONS
We prefer candidates with relevant education in the field. Previous professional experience in finance is meritorious but not a requirement for the position.
As a person, you are structured and work according to clear processes. You organize and plan your work well, complete initiated tasks, and meet deadlines. Furthermore, we seek someone who handles stress constructively and maintains a positive attitude under pressure and challenges.
We also look for candidates with good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
