About the Role
As the Financial Manager at MattiasMat, you will be a central part of our head office in Skövde. You are responsible for both day-to-day finance and the strategic development of the finance function. The role is broad and includes everything from accounting and payroll to reporting and analysis. You will work closely with the CEO and COO, gaining significant opportunities to influence both daily operations and the company's long-term development.
Your Main Responsibilities
Ongoing Financial Work:
• Accounting and invoice management (customers and suppliers)
• Daily bookkeeping for the entire group
• Prepare interim financial statements and annual reports
• Payroll administration and payments
• Invoice control and documentation of personnel data and contracts
• Financial administration and payments
Follow-up and Business Support:
• Monthly follow-ups by unit (revenue, costs, results)
• Create and develop reporting templates and key performance indicators
• Participate in budget and forecasting work together with the CEO and COO
• Follow up on financial results with unit managers
Role Development:
You will be responsible for streamlining routines, strengthening internal control, and supporting our unit managers with financial management.
Your Profile:
We are looking for someone who has:
• A post-secondary education in finance/accounting or equivalent
• At least 3–5 years of experience in qualified financial work, preferably in smaller companies
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoice management, payroll administration, as well as VAT and fee management
• Experience with Fortnox or similar financial systems
• Very good skills in Excel
• Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• A valid driving license and access to a car
It is advantageous if you have experience from the restaurant or service sector.

We initially see that the financial tasks will cover an 80% position. Our goal is for this to grow to a full-time role over time as we expand. Currently, we can offer a 100% position if you are open to taking on additional tasks (20%) related to restaurant and/or event assignments, social media, or other suitable duties.
