The company currently employs around 40 people and has a flat organizational structure, allowing each employee significant personal responsibility and direct contact with management. With continuous growth, one of the industry's most comprehensive inventories, and a very solid financial standing, Axel Larsson offers a wide range of high-quality products combined with qualified technical advice, where many products are assembled into complete valve packages in their workshop. The headquarters, along with the warehouse and workshop, is located in Upplands Väsby, just north of Stockholm, with local sales offices throughout Sweden. Responsibilities As the Financial Manager at Axel Larsson, you will have overall responsibility for the company's finances and report directly to the CEO. The role is broad and encompasses all finance-related tasks. Specifically, this includes ensuring payroll flow, managing VAT and taxes according to regulations, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting in the form of monthly reports, credit assessments, ongoing reconciliations with the management team, and liaising with the auditing firm and external parties such as banks and insurance companies. Additionally, you will conduct monthly and annual closings and prepare financial work for the board. You will have the support of a finance assistant who handles supplier invoices, ongoing accounting, assists with monthly closings, and manages Eurocard administration. You will not have personnel responsibility in this role. Specific tasks include: • Ensuring correct handling of payroll, VAT, and taxes • Working with budgeting, forecasts, and financial reporting • Conducting credit assessments and financial analyses • Ongoing reconciliations and reporting to the management team • Managing contact with the auditing firm, bank, and insurance companies • Leading and conducting monthly and annual closings • Preparing financial materials for board meetings • Collaborating with and supporting the finance assistant in daily tasks Education, Experience, and Personal Qualities • Post-secondary education in finance or equivalent work experience • At least three years of work experience as an accountant or financial manager in a smaller company where you have had overall responsibility • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite • Good proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written • Experience with the business system Monitor is an advantage As a person, you are driven by taking overall responsibility for your work and contributing your expertise and experience to develop the business through well-founded decisions.
