IKEM - Innovations and Chemical Industries in Sweden - is seeking a Finance Manager as our current one is retiring.

About the Role
As our Finance Manager, you will be solely responsible for the finance function and its development. You will drive the work independently, but in close collaboration with management and other colleagues in the organization. Your main tasks include:
* Ongoing bookkeeping and accounting
* Balance sheet reconciliation and income statement analysis
* Preparation of income and balance sheets
* Year-end work and annual reports
* VAT and tax declarations
* Budget work and financial follow-up
* Periodic reports to the working committee and board
* Management of financial governance documents and routines
* Supplier contact
* Verification of payroll documentation, expenses, and time reports (payroll administration is handled by an external party)
* Follow-up of cost centers in collaboration with responsible parties in the organization
* Support for other employees as needed
Beyond financial work, you will be involved in issues related to IT, HR, facilities, and various administrative projects. The role suits someone who enjoys having many contact points and likes to be involved in multiple parts of the organization.
As Finance Manager, you will be located at the head office in central Stockholm, where approximately 30 people work, and will report directly to the CEO.
Experience
We are seeking someone with several years of experience as a Finance Manager who enjoys a role that allows both strategic and operational work. Previous experience in a membership organization is considered meritorious. You have a solid theoretical foundation in finance and accounting, preferably from a university or college, but we value experience equally. You are familiar with various financial systems and Excel. We work with Xledger, so experience with this system is of particular interest.
We are looking for someone with a holistic view of accounting, financial statements, and financial management, who combines this with the ability and interest in supporting the organization in these matters.
