The Finance Unit has overall responsibility for driving and developing financial management in the municipality, serving as internal support in the financial area, and managing procurement.
Would you like to contribute to socially important work while helping to develop, digitize, and streamline our financial administrative support? We are now seeking an experienced and engaged financial administrator who wants to become a key team member!
DUTIES
As our financial administrator, you'll have a broad and varied job. Your main tasks include bookkeeping, reconciliations, payments, invoice handling, and serving as a backup system administrator for the financial system.
Additionally, you'll work on orders, grant applications, archiving, and other tasks within the unit.
The role includes creating manuals for various tasks and providing training to others.
A natural part of the job is contributing to our ongoing efforts to continuously improve and optimize our work methods. We value new ideas!
To increase quality assurance in the unit, we work on being backups for each other and helping when needed. You are expected to be active in this.
QUALIFICATIONS
We seek someone with experience in financial administration and an interest in system administration. You have relevant education in the field or other education we deem equivalent.
You have good knowledge of bookkeeping, invoice handling, and are experienced in working with financial systems. You are proficient in the Office suite, particularly Word and Excel. Experience with Visma Business Solutions is meritorious.
Personally, you are proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented. You should be able to work independently but also in a team. As a financial administrator, you are development-oriented and can quickly learn new tasks and systems. You are interested in digitization and see it as an opportunity for organizational development. A proactive and solution-oriented approach is crucial for success.
As the work involves contacts with various stakeholders, we believe you enjoy working in a service-oriented manner and have the ability to build good relationships. The position requires fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written.
