About this role
Welcome to a future together with Riksbyggen!
Riksbyggen is a cooperative company – this means that we are owned by our members and work long-term with the values of innovation, security, collaboration, and sustainability as our foundation. We develop sustainable living environments by both creating new homes and managing properties. As one of Sweden's largest players in residential development and property management, we are there for housing cooperatives, businesses, and public property owners.
No matter where you want to go in your career, there is a place for you with us.
Your role as an Accountant
As an accountant at Riksbyggen, you will play an advisory role with numerous customer contacts and significant responsibilities. You will work closely with our technical property managers and other colleagues to jointly deliver long-term sustainable management services that create real added value for our customers.
You will be responsible for a number of clients – primarily housing cooperatives, but also commercial property owners and municipalities. In your daily work, you will communicate with the boards and chairpersons of housing cooperatives, becoming an important partner in their financial planning.
Your duties will include, among others:
• Ongoing bookkeeping, budgeting, and financial closing
• Financial follow-up and reporting
• Loan procurement and financial planning
• Presentation of budgets and forecasts for boards
• Contact with members, suppliers, and authorities
• Identifying customer needs and developing long-term cooperation
This is an exciting and varied position with many contacts, significant personal responsibility, and good development opportunities. With us, you will work in an organization that values commitment, collaboration, and sustainability – both in work and in society.
As an employee with us, you are also expected to serve as a board member in some of our housing cooperatives. A remuneration for this responsibility will be provided. The role also involves some evening meetings.
The position is a full-time temporary contract starting immediately and lasting until June 15, 2026, with the possibility of extension, based in Kalmar. Some travel within the market area may occur.
Who are you?
