**We are looking for an economist colleague to Enwa Water Technology**
As an economist at Enwa, you will be offered an exciting and broad role. We are restructuring the department and need an economist who will work in-depth with project follow-up while also handling some of the ongoing operations within the finance department.
In addition to being part of the finance team managing day-to-day finances, you will also work closely with our project managers. You will act as an advisor and be a strategic sounding board, providing financial input, analyses, calculations, and accounting advice. The role also includes guiding project managers on the financial aspects related to projects.
We have many clients and suppliers and are part of an international ownership structure, which involves extensive contact points where collaboration and communication are significant parts of daily operations. You will work at our office in Hisings Backa and be an important support for the local operations. The position may involve some travel each year in connection with financial audits at client sites. You will receive good collaboration and support from the rest of the finance team. Reporting will be to Enwa's Chief Financial Officer.
**Your main responsibilities include:**
- Ongoing accounting, including accounts receivable
- Ongoing financial project reconciliation together with project managers
- Project invoicing
- Participation in monthly and annual financial closings
- Responsibility for project management in our business system Jeeves, including improvement work and development
- Financial training and support for project managers
- Assistance during financial audits with clients
- Collaboration with projects regarding contract reviews and warranty management
**Who are we looking for?**
We are looking for someone who has:
- A degree in finance
- Several years of experience as an accounting economist
- Previous experience in project accounting and project administration (experience in contracting is an advantage)
- Knowledge of percentage-of-completion accounting is an advantage
- Analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
- Independence and drive
