**Your Role with Us**
As an economist in the Technical Administration, you will be one of nine staff members in the Finance Department. You will work closely with the property technology department in a finance group consisting of you, another economist, and a finance administrator. Your primary duties include budget planning, forecasting, and year-end accounting. Other tasks may include monitoring the municipality's internal lease agreements, project management, and asset management. You will also be part of the management team for the property technology department and provide support to other employees in the technical property department. The role involves collaboration and dialogue with other departments and administrations, aimed at creating a qualitative and efficient working method. The economist position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
**Who Are We Looking For?**
We seek candidates with a higher education in finance or a relevant field. We also require that you have current and documented experience in budget work, forecasting, and year-end accounting. Experience in financial work within a property management organization and familiarity with the Visma financial system are advantageous. Experience from a politically governed organization is also a plus.
As an individual, you have a strong ability to deliver results, both in terms of quality and productivity. You learn new tasks quickly and have an easy time finding new angles and solutions to problems. You are comfortable presenting in front of different groups. You work in a systematic, methodological, and meticulous manner. You have the ability to take initiative and collaborate with others.
Additionally, you can follow instructions, legal requirements, and policies while adhering to set timelines. The ability to work strategically to realize the organization's goals is an advantage.
**About Us**
The Finance Department in the Technical Administration supports our departments in property technology, infrastructure, and water and sewage. The department also plays a significant role in reporting to management, the technical committee, and municipal leadership.
The Technical Committee, through the Technical Administration, is responsible for the development, construction, and management of the municipality's public spaces and buildings. The committee is also tasked with ensuring municipal water and sewage supply (VA) and is the road authority for municipal roads.
