Maintenance aims to positively influence the OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) metric through technical availability.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work in a technically progressive workplace characterized by a fast pace and quick decision-making processes. You will experience a varied daily routine where your tasks are dynamic. For instance, one week you may work on corrective maintenance, handling repairs and urgent incidents, such as managing alarms or restarting production after an unplanned stoppage. The following week, you might focus on more preventive, planned maintenance or upgrade activities. This position is based in Markaryd, but maintenance for our facility in Strömsnäsbruk is also included in the role. The position is daytime-based.
Your main tasks and responsibilities include:
- Troubleshooting and performing urgent actions.
- Problem-solving, including root cause analysis (RCA).
- Installation and repairs.
- Working on preventive and ongoing maintenance, improvement work, supervision/inspection, and repair tasks.
- Assessing maintenance needs and addressing issues.
- Participating in technical projects and improvement initiatives within maintenance.
- Contributing to a developing and safe work environment and a reliable machinery fleet.
- Assisting with questions regarding machinery, methods, and working practices.
- Ensuring that corrective and preventive maintenance activities are carried out as planned.
- Assembling, maintaining, and managing machine equipment.
- Being involved in long-term improvements regarding machinery installations.
- On-call duty is included.
Qualifications:
- A technical education (at least at the high school level) or other experience deemed equivalent.
- Practical experience in maintenance technology.
- Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, machining, and welding.
- Proficiency in Swedish and English.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Knowledge in electrical engineering or control and regulation technology.
- Boiler operator training.
- Knowledge and experience with CMMS and/or EAM; we currently use IFS Ultimo.
We believe that you, as the applicant, have previous experience working as a maintenance technician and possess a strong technical interest. You are a driven individual who is attentive, accommodating, and enjoys a supportive role where you provide service to others. You are meticulous in your work and well aware of goals and quality standards. Furthermore, you should be responsible, enjoy problem-solving and challenges, and have a strong focus on safety. Since the work is dynamic, you should enjoy working both in a team and independently.
