e-Component is seeking a Quality Associate

We are now seeking a practically-minded and solution-oriented professional for our quality department! e-Component is a company within engcongroup that primarily manufactures and processes welded and cast components based on customer drawings. Over the past five years, the company has heavily invested in new machines and technology, making the work both challenging and interesting. About the Position As a Quality Associate, you will be a key team member who supports our quality technicians in daily operations. You will contribute to the quality department's ability to focus on core activities by handling urgent tasks and daily operational needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, collaborating across different functions, and wants to help develop our quality processes. Key responsibilities include: • Performing and documenting incoming material and component inspections • Supporting operators and production with quality issues, conducting basic investigations, and making decisions according to instructions • Independently addressing non-conforming materials (e.g., welding, grinding, threading, deburring) • Conducting simple measurements and interpreting results • Collaborating with purchasing, warehouse, production, and maintenance to ensure smooth quality workflows • Participating in improvement initiatives and contributing ideas to develop routines and processes About You We are seeking candidates with workshop experience and preferably knowledge in welding, grinding, deburring, and threading. You should be able to perform basic inspections and measurements according to current standards and have fundamental machining competence. To succeed in this role, it is crucial that you are solution-oriented, self-motivated, and adept at collaborating with others. You enjoy providing service and working practically in an environment where you can quickly contribute to problem-solving and process improvement. This is a six-month full-time position, with potential for extension. Start date is immediate or by agreement.
