About this role
**Description**
We are looking for someone who is curious about working with us in an exciting neighborhood with an important target group - our children and young people with disabilities.
You are inquisitive, driven, and skilled at moving processes forward. You enjoy working both independently and collaboratively.
We are Funktionsstöd Myndighet Nordost Unga, consisting of 11 social workers, two senior social workers, and a unit manager. We are a team that enjoys working together, values our positive work environment, and supports each other in our tasks. With us, you will have a stimulating and responsible job with significant opportunities to influence, as well as access to method and process supervision. We are located at Angereds Torg, which is a hub in the area, both in terms of local transport and accessibility, as well as the variety of shops and restaurants available.
**Responsibilities**
In your role as a social worker, you will assess individuals' rights to services according to SoL (Social Services Act) and LSS (Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). You will meet children and young people with mental/neuropsychiatric/physical and intellectual disabilities, their families, networks, and guardians/administrators. Occasionally, you will conduct conversations with the assistance of an interpreter. We collaborate with service providers such as housing facilities, other social services, authorities, and schools. Professional development and monitoring of the external environment are important parts of the work.
The job involves managing priorities, demands, and conflicting interests, making ethical considerations and decisions. A crucial aspect is also determining when other expertise is needed beyond your own. We work with a norm-critical approach.
Experience with the target group and relevant legislation is preferred.
Have we managed to capture your interest yet?
Welcome with your application!
**Qualifications**
You are welcome to apply for the position if you have a degree in social work or another qualification that the employer deems equivalent. However, it is required that you have completed at least 7.5 higher education credits in social law.
It is advantageous if you have experience in public authority work involving investigations, assessments, and the implementation of decisions, and are familiar with processing according to the Social Services Act (SoL) and the Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons (LSS). Experience in the disability field is also desirable.
As the position involves administrative work and the issuance of, for example, service statements, you need to have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing.
Experience with documentation in the operational systems IBIC, Treserva, and SAMSA is viewed positively.
You take responsibility and show respect and consideration for others in your work. Your starting point is the equal value of all individuals, and you focus on the best interests of the organization/users. Under stress, you can remain calm, work efficiently, and balance the existing demands. You are systematic, organized, and methodical.
**Conditions**
With us, you will receive a thorough introduction for new employees both within your own unit, broadly across Funktionsstöd Nordost, and within your own administration. We also offer the possibility of partial remote work, wellness benefits, process supervision, and much more.
You will have a stimulating and responsible job with significant opportunities to influence, as well as close access to supervision in the form of a senior social worker and manager. You will also receive external process supervision. We prioritize a good introduction and professional development.
An important part of your introduction with us is participation in the Competence Ladder. This is a long-term initiative that spans three semesters, with each semester having its own theme. You will participate alongside colleagues from other units within the administration and the city.
All units in Nordost are engaged in several development projects, and some of us are HBTQI-certified.
Warm welcome with your application!
**Other**
In this recruitment process, you will be asked to answer a number of questions where you can describe your knowledge in the field instead of submitting a personal letter.
