Student Welfare Services is seeking someone who wants to support students with attendance issues and contribute to increased school presence. Our mission is to work preventively and health-promotingly to create positive learning environments and improve goal achievement.

Job Responsibilities
As a member of the Attendance Team, you will support students with high absenteeism by mapping causes, creating dialogue with students and guardians, and developing individual action plans. You will coordinate efforts with school staff and external actors if needed, follow up and document work, and participate in student welfare meetings. The role involves both urgent interventions and preventive work to create security, motivation, and increased school attendance. Work will be done in close collaboration with the school's student welfare team, including principal, school nurse, school counselor, and special education teacher. The Attendance Team is responsible for training initiatives about successful approaches to promoting student attendance.
You will work with a colleague in a central team addressing attendance issues for elementary school students. The Attendance Team is part of Central Student Welfare Services, which includes other professional roles such as school psychologist and speech therapist.
Qualifications
We seek candidates with experience working with children, youth, and their guardians. You should have relevant higher education, such as social work, behavioral science, or education degrees. Experience with students experiencing absenteeism and neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous. You should be attentive, clear, confident, good at building relationships, and communicate effectively. The role requires close collaboration with educators and guardians, with significant emphasis on personal suitability.

Permanent full-time position (100%), with vacation employment.

A B driver's license and personal vehicle are required.
