About this role
Särnmark is one of Sweden's oldest companies in personal assistance, founded by the current owners in the early 1990s. We work based on a clear and explicit value foundation, and our primary drive is to create the best conditions for personalized personal assistance tailored to each individual's unique needs. Särnmark currently has over 3,500 employees, with customers and staff across Sweden. Our main office is located in Sundbyberg, but we also have offices in other parts of Sweden.
I'm looking for someone who wants to make a real difference – for me and for my life. I'm a 50+ man with humor, drive, and willpower, but I need the right person by my side to take my next step back into everyday life.
I use a wheelchair and have certain physical limitations, but that doesn't mean life stands still – quite the opposite. My goal is to develop, challenge myself, and go as far as I can. Therefore, I'm seeking a personal assistant who is more than just support – you are my coach, my teammate, and my daily motivation! I communicate and have a great sense of humor, so we'll definitely have fun.
I live in the countryside with my wife, and our family includes dogs and horses – so you cannot be allergic.
Who are you?
You are a positive, energizing, and secure person who enjoys motivating others. You have an interest in fitness and health, and you're not afraid to take initiative – especially when I might need an extra push. You don't need to be an elite athlete, but you should understand the importance of everyday movement, recovery, and small progress.
You see it as self-evident to help with practical daily tasks, but you also have a sense of when to push me and when to simply listen and be present.
Your tasks may include:
• Support during daily training and movement
• Motivation and encouragement in everyday life
• Help with personal care
• Assistance with cooking and simple household chores
• Support in various daily activities, both at home and outside
• Provide social support and create a positive atmosphere
Personal chemistry is absolutely the most important factor.

About the Position
This is a needs-based employment, but for the right person, it could become a fixed-term position in the future. Compensation is hourly. We are currently seeking someone who can work round-the-clock shifts and fill in when colleagues are sick or on leave. Work hours include overnight shifts with waiting time and active assistance, as well as day shifts, on weekdays and weekends.
Salary and employment terms according to the collective agreement for Personal Assistance, Vårdföretagarna - Kommunal.
