About the position As the manager of the Helicopter 14 Unit at the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV), you will lead a competent group of project managers, product managers, and systems engineers who together contribute to strengthening Sweden's defense capability. You will be responsible for operations, personnel, and finances, creating conditions for your employees to succeed together. Here, you will combine operational and strategic leadership with close collaboration, both within FMV and with the Armed Forces, industry, and international partners. The position is based in Stockholm. Travel, both domestic and international, is required. About you We are looking for someone with a degree in a relevant technical field (engineer, university degree, or master's degree) or equivalent competence acquired in another way that we consider comparable. A fundamental requirement is that you can express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish and English and hold a B driver's license. You also have documented experience and knowledge in the following areas: • Current managerial experience with employee responsibility. • Experience in complex operations regarding coordination, planning, implementation, and follow-up of production and finances. • Experience in leading engineering-heavy operations. • Experience in the aviation sector. It is advantageous if you have training in management and leadership and/or project management. We would also like you to have experience in Systems Engineering, FMV's working methods, public procurement, and industrial issues related to international operations. Previous experience working within the Armed Forces or collaborating with FMV is considered a plus. We view knowledge of the Public Procurement Act and regulations governing the Armed Forces' aviation operations positively.
