As a Plant Technician at Solör Bioenergi, you make a difference. Every day, you contribute to delivering district heating to schools, apartments, industries, and homes. By utilizing waste from the forestry industry, we recycle and produce district heating with low environmental impact. Help create a secure everyday life for residents in Mölnlycke, Landvetter, and Bollebygd.
Solör Bioenergi owns and operates three facilities in Mölnlycke, Landvetter, and Bollebygd, which together constitute the Mölnlycke unit. District heating is delivered from our production facilities consisting of biofuel boilers. As a Plant Technician, you will be based in Mölnlycke but contribute to heat production across all three locations.
About the Position
As a Plant Technician, you'll do more than just "fire up" - you'll monitor, coordinate, and optimize operations in district heating plants and distribution systems. You'll manage fuel and continuously improve operations to create optimal capacity. You'll work on ongoing service and maintenance while ensuring operations are safe and efficient. You'll be the one to step in if something prevents heat delivery to our customers, working both on emergency and preventive maintenance. This is the job for someone who thrives in a broad role with process-oriented work and varied days. You enjoy when things happen but remain stress-resistant and meticulous, making problem-solving and improvement work your specialty.
You need a B driver's license (as on-call duty is part of the position), good Swedish language skills (both spoken and written), and experience with Office 365 programs. Additionally, we seek previous experience in power/heat/energy production.
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience in process industry, biogas, property management, water/sewage, and/or agriculture
• Experience in service, maintenance, technology/mechanics
• Educational background equivalent to operations and/or maintenance technician or other technical education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience and knowledge in electrical and/or automation technology
Personal suitability will be given significant weight, and you are preferred to live near our operational area.
