As a Technical Operator at Solör Bioenergi, you make a difference. Every day, you contribute to delivering district heating to schools, apartments, industries, and homes. By utilizing waste from the forestry industry, we recycle and produce district heating with low environmental impact. Solör Bioenergi owns and operates three facilities in Mölnlycke, Landvetter, and Bollebygd, which together form the Mölnlycke unit. District heating is delivered from our production facilities, which consist of biofuel boilers. As a Technical Operator, you will be based in Mölnlycke but contribute to creating heat in all three locations.
About the Position
In the role of Technical Operator, you will indeed fire things up - but not just literally. Monitoring, coordinating, and optimizing operations in district heating plants and distribution systems is a major part of the job. You will manage fuel and continuously improve operations to create optimal capacity. You will work consistently with service and maintenance while ensuring operations are conducted as safely and efficiently as possible. You are the one who steps in if something occurs that might prevent heat delivery to our customers, so you will work with both emergency and preventive maintenance. This is the job for someone who thrives in a broad role with process-oriented work and varied days. Who Are You?
You are an engaged enthusiast who enjoys having a varied and meaningful job where you make a difference. As a person, you are analytical and accustomed to working systematically and passionate about process-driven environments. Being practically minded and enjoying tinkering, fixing, and keeping machinery running is a strong advantage. You communicate easily and build good relationships with colleagues, customers, suppliers, and contractors. You enjoy when things happen but are stress-tolerant and meticulous, making problem-solving and improvement work your thing.
You need to have a B driver's license (as on-call duty is included in the position) and good Swedish language skills (both spoken and written) and experience with Office 365 programs. Additionally, we seek previous experience in power/heat/energy production.
It is meritorious if you have:
• Experience working in process industry, biogas, property management, water/sewage, and/or agriculture
• Experience in service, maintenance, technology/mechanics
• Educational background equivalent to operations and/or maintenance technician or other technical education deemed equivalent by the employer
• Experience and knowledge in electrical and/or automation technology
