Your Duties
As a Water and Sewage Operations Technician, you will have a varied job where you play a crucial role in ensuring our water supply and wastewater treatment processes function as they should. Your work contributes to providing our residents with clean drinking water and ensuring wastewater is handled safely and sustainably.
The work involves regular supervision through rounds and troubleshooting to detect and address potential operational disruptions. You will also work on optimizing processes to increase efficiency and sustainability, perform preventive maintenance, and participate in maintenance efforts to ensure a stable and reliable operation.
The organization is flexible, where colleagues help and support each other as needed, which means your work may be directed towards other tasks within the organization if required.
We Are Looking For
We seek someone with an education or background relevant to the position. Previous experience in water and sewage or technical and maintenance systems is considered meritorious. You have a strong service mindset and enjoy challenging and developing yourself and your colleagues to collectively achieve our goals. You are responsible and committed. You adapt easily to new situations. As a Water and Sewage Operations Technician with us, you will interact with many people, which requires you to be attentive and communicate effectively. We place great importance on personal qualities. A driver's license with manual transmission is required, though personal vehicle ownership is not necessary.
