About the Role
The role of operations technician at Sweax combines technology, problem-solving, and service. You will be responsible for operations, troubleshooting, and supervision of properties in Uppsala, focusing on housing associations. You'll become an important part of a growing team that together ensures properties are well-maintained, energy-efficient, and comfortable for residents.
This is a role for someone who wants to take responsibility, contribute to development, and enjoys a day that offers both technical and human interactions.
Example Work Tasks:
• Operation and optimization of technical systems (heating, ventilation, control technology)
• Supervision, maintenance, and reading of measurement values
• Administration in operations software and compilation of customer reports and energy statistics
• Troubleshooting and minor repairs in properties (e.g., faucets, lighting, locks, doors)
• Identify, document, and report deviations and action needs
• Collaboration with suppliers and contractors for major actions
• Contact with residents, boards, and customers in daily work
• Contribute to business development through improved routines, templates, and operation journals
Who We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with experience in operations or property technology who is passionate about solving problems – both technical and practical. You enjoy human contact, are pedagogical in communication, and easily create structure in everyday life.
We believe you have:
• Several years of experience in property operations or property technology (residential or commercial properties)
• Good knowledge of heating, ventilation, and control systems
• Ability to handle operational platforms for technical systems and error reporting
• Good digital skills and ability to document systematically
• Driver's license (B-class)
• Swedish language skills, both verbal and written
It's meritorious if you also have:
• Education in property technology, operations technology, or HVAC
• Certificates like Hot Work, BAS-U, or similar
• Experience from housing associations or customer-close management
We believe you'll enjoy working with us if you:
• Are self-driven but like collaboration
• Are confident, direct, and unpretentious – with care for both colleagues and customers
• Are curious, helpful, and meet colleagues and customers with a positive attitude
We Offer:
• An important role in a growing company with short decision-making paths and great trust
• Opportunity to influence and develop both work methods and customer relationships
• A secure employer with collective agreement, wellness contribution, and joint activities
