Welcome to us! About the Position As a Facility Technician with us, you are a central part of our operations as you have the opportunity to facilitate our customers' daily activities. You are the face of Specialfastigheter and have daily contact with our customers. In this role, you are primarily responsible for daily supervision and management of our properties in Gothenburg and surrounding areas, though work assignments may arise across our entire regional property portfolio. Travel within the service area is therefore expected. As a Facility Technician, you will work independently and daily represent Specialfastigheter. Collaboration with customers, technical managers, colleagues, and contractors is a central part of the work. In ongoing management, you are responsible for daily operations, corrective maintenance, conducting authority inspections, physical and digital rounds, service ordering and follow-up, as well as handling minor customer orders and invoice management. Examples of work tasks included in the position: • Perform corrective maintenance • Implement and follow up on operational optimization measures from an energy and cost perspective • Conduct minor planned maintenance and tenant adaptations • Implement systematic fire protection work (SBA) • Follow-up, analysis, and compilation of media, regulatory requirements, and inspections • Maintain ongoing contact with customers, colleagues, and contractors • Report and update cases in our case management system Want to know more about a Facility Technician's daily work? About You To be successful in the role, we believe you have: • Education in facility technology or equivalent competence acquired otherwise • Previous experience in a role such as facility technician, HVAC technician, electrician, ventilation technician, or other role deemed relevant to the position • General good knowledge and understanding of property technical systems and their interactions • Good ability to communicate in Swedish verbally and in writing, as used in daily work • Good computer skills and experience with overall control systems, case management systems, ordering systems, and invoice management • Some experience in a purchasing role and handling warranty cases • Valid Class B driver's license is required Great importance is placed on your personal characteristics. Location You will become part of the Southern Property Area with a local office in Gothenburg. Your base will be Skogome Correctional Facility north of Gothenburg. Travel between properties is included in the service, and since our operations are nationwide, travel outside your area may also occur.
