Regional Properties develops and manages Region Skåne's properties with a focus on creating secure, functional, and sustainable environments for residents and employees. Currently, Region Skåne is undertaking the largest investments ever in Skåne's hospital areas. We develop complex construction projects in sensitive healthcare environments, always with the highest requirements for operational reliability. Simultaneously, we are expanding the infrastructure for public transportation with new service depots for buses and trains.
Operations Area Lund is part of the Property Operations department at Regional Properties and is responsible for technical operation and maintenance of Region Skåne's properties in Lund. We work to create reliable healthcare and are responsible for Skåne University Hospital and Skåne Public Transport's tram and bus depots in Lund. Together, we are approximately 55 employees based in the hospital area in Lund, with our main responsibility being to provide world-class operational reliability and to be a secure and reliable partner to healthcare.
The operations area encompasses a wide variety of technical installations such as ventilation, heating, cooling, control systems, medical gases, as well as electrical supply and distribution. Operational technical equipment is also part of our responsibility. We manage complex systems with a focus on preventive maintenance work and participate in major renovation projects and new installation projects. The work is conducted in a hospital environment with patient safety in focus and in close collaboration with Region Skåne's operations and personnel, project managers, consultants, and contractors.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the role of operations technician, your primary mission is to work with operation, supervision, and maintenance of ventilation, cooling, and heating, as well as corrective maintenance within property operations. This also includes ordering and calling off contract work, services, and materials. As part of your role, you will handle some administration with invoice management and reporting actions. When needed, you will also act as technical support for management and projects within our area of operations. You will be a contact person for healthcare regarding indoor climate issues related to ventilation, cooling, and heating, and interconnected systems.
Since operational reliability is our primary task, it is natural to participate in all unit responsibilities and tasks as needed and to actively participate and contribute to improvement work.

Depending on future operational needs, on-call duty may become relevant with a response time of one hour to the entire hospital area.
The position is located in the hospital area in Lund, and travel and driving are part of the job.
QUALIFICATIONS
We welcome applicants with at least a completed high school technical education, or other completed education combined with work experience that the employer deems relevant for the position. Additionally, you have good Swedish language skills in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. As travel may occur in the job, a valid Class B driver's license is required.
We consider it meritorious if you have previous experience working with cooling and ventilation. We also look positively on experience with Faciliate or similar maintenance systems. We do not expect you to know everything before starting with us, but you need to have a genuine interest in technology and a willingness to learn and develop yourself.
As a person, you are calm, confident, and able to take initiative and make decisions in line with organizational goals. You are structured and independent, which means planning, organizing, and prioritizing work effectively from a holistic perspective.
