Your Mission As a facility technician, you will belong to the Facility Management Office and operations unit, responsible for the premises and properties used by the agency.
In the role of operations technician, you will work with control and monitoring systems, ventilation, cooling systems, and water systems. In your role, you will collaborate and lead contractors, address operational disruptions, be on standby, and maintain journals and documentation.
Your daily tasks will include:
- Addressing operational disruptions
- Maintenance of fire and evacuation alarm systems
- Development work
- Installations
- Working with case management systems
- Overall operations and maintenance work on-site
- Lock and door systems
You will have internal contact points across the entire agency and externally with other agencies. Business travel may occur.
We are seeking someone who has:
- High school or post-secondary education in facility operations technology or equivalent, as we assess comparable
- Experience in facility management or skilled trades
- Basic knowledge of MS programs
- Good skills in Swedish and English languages
- Class B driver's license
We consider it meritorious if you have education and/or corresponding work experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Plumbing technician, cooling technician, sprinkler technician, or equivalent
- Experience in operations and service of property or facility systems
- Control and monitoring systems
- Experience in operations technology with plumbing installations

Additional Information
The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA involves placement in a security class. A requirement for employment is approved security screening with registry control. The security screening will be conducted in accordance with regulations in the Security Protection Act. Employment is accompanied by an obligation to be war-placed. We apply a six-month probationary period.
