Then we are looking for you for this important role as an Operations Technician! With us, you'll have the chance to work with swimming, ice, and sports halls across Gothenburg. You will work independently with significant personal responsibility, while also being a valuable part of a competent team of approximately 27 employees in the Operations and Technology unit, which includes operations technicians, engineers, carpenters, masons, customer service representatives, and a mobile support function. As an Operations Technician with us, you'll have a varied and responsible job ensuring our facilities operate optimally. Your primary focus will be the operation and maintenance of electrical installations in our buildings. You will: - Perform troubleshooting of facilities and conduct recurring checks and repairs, including urgent service interventions. - Act as a requester of services and materials and follow up on completed work. - Manage and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety regulations at our facilities. - Handle incoming incident reports. - Serve as backup and collaborator to your fellow operations technicians. You will be based at one of our facilities but work mobile across the city. Working hours are Monday – Friday. Qualifications We are seeking candidates with a completed high school education and further training as an operations or property technician. You must have a B driver's license. Previous experience working with equivalent facilities such as operating substations, ventilation systems, and swimming pools is preferred. Experience with regulatory requirements is also valued. Basic electrical safety training or being a certified electrician is a plus. We place great importance on personal competencies, including being responsible and thorough in your work. You perform your duties to the best of your ability, ensure work is done correctly, complete tasks on time, and follow up on results. The position requires good flexibility, ability to switch between overall perspective and details, and enjoyment of new challenges. You should have good collaborative skills, contribute to the work group, and collaborate effectively in your professional role. Within your assignment, you can also act independently as situations require.
