Uppsala Municipality School Properties is in an exciting phase as Uppsala is growing, and we have an important mission to provide the municipality with preschools and schools. School Properties has a large project portfolio where we will be building and maintaining for over 1 billion SEK per year for several years to come. Your mission As an operations technician, you will be part of the operations unit and will work closely with property managers and technical managers. You will have daily contact with our customers and contractors and participate in efforts to develop customer care and service. On-call duty may also be part of the role. The work primarily involves: • Supervision and maintenance of our properties' technical installations • Energy optimization of our properties • Functional checks of our facilities • Preventive work in our properties • Addressing reported issues. Your background We are looking for someone with education in property management and experience working as an operations technician. The position requires good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. You also need to have a valid B driver's license, good computer skills, and knowledge of Microsoft 365. Experience with property management systems is considered an asset. If you have a professional certificate, it is viewed positively. We would also like you to have specialized expertise in HVAC, ventilation, electrical systems, or control and regulation. Familiarity with the local area of Uppsala and its surroundings is also advantageous. As a person, you are service-oriented, calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the ability to see the bigger picture and approach issues from a broader perspective. Furthermore, you take initiative and start activities to achieve results. This job is suitable for you if you are good at structuring, planning, and prioritizing your work.
