At Tekniska verken, we utilize resources that would otherwise go to waste – transforming them into steam, electricity, cooling, and district heating. We are now seeking a day-shift operations technician who wants to contribute to a sustainable society and make a real difference.
As a day-shift operations technician, you will work closely with our shift teams and contribute to a safe, efficient, and optimized operation of our production facilities. You will work both proactively and reactively, and be involved in projects, revisions, and development efforts. With varied and exciting tasks, your days will be filled with:
- Supporting operations at our combined heat and power plants
- Serving as an operations representative during revisions and projects
- Collaborating with adjacent departments regarding both operational optimization and maintenance
- Working on administrative tasks such as documentation and instructions
- Preparing maintenance efforts with safe shutdowns, work order management, and hot work
Are you the one we're looking for?
As a person, you are independent and accustomed to taking responsibility for completing your tasks. In this role, you will collaborate with colleagues from different parts of the organization, which means you thrive in cooperation and communication – both when everything is running smoothly and when unexpected situations arise. Problem-solving is a natural part of your approach, and you easily adapt when conditions change. We also value your flexibility in shifting focus between different tasks as needed. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities.
Experience you bring and share with us:
- Education as an operations technician or other education/experience deemed equivalent
- Knowledge of process monitoring, energy systems, and production facilities
- Knowledge of maintenance and repair work
- Knowledge of electrical engineering and control technology
- Good Swedish language skills, both written and spoken
- Class B driver's license
Experience working at combined heat and power plants is meritorious.
