Your Responsibilities At Skill, we are looking for a Commissioning Engineer for the workshop testing at Siemens Energy in Finspång! As a commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing the commissioning and testing of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites. The role involves coordinating the testing team, ensuring that schedules are adhered to, and training employees. You will document your work meticulously through checklists and reports. The work encompasses the entire testing chain prior to delivery, including test runs, workshop tests, and testing of complete systems. You will be part of the team that conducts workshop testing. Main Responsibilities: • Lead and participate in the commissioning of gas turbine packages. • Coordinate the testing team. • Train employees. • Documentation (checklists and reports). • Test runs and workshop testing of gas turbines and auxiliary equipment. • Testing of complete deliveries. • Active member of the workshop testing team. Your Profile To succeed in this role, you need to be a structured and driven problem solver with perseverance, good communication skills, and a willingness to collaborate with others. You also need: • An engineering degree in operations, energy, electrical power, mechanical engineering, or control/automation technology. • Several years of experience in work management. • Practical experience in commissioning or maintenance of supporting machines, preferably turbines. • Proficiency in computer skills and experience in administrative work. • Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Desirable: knowledge in control and automation technology, e.g., Siemens Simatic.
