Deployment Technician/IT Technician for the Defense Industry - Boden

About the Position As a Deployment/IT Technician, you will perform varied tasks primarily within networking, software, hardware, and server systems. You will have the opportunity to work with PC-based support systems, debugging, installation, and testing. You will also be involved in installation and mounting of technical equipment, which means being prepared for practical fieldwork tasks. As the work involves collaboration with international colleagues and partners, it is important that you feel comfortable working in an international environment. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to travel for work. The position and work are located in Boden. Primary Responsibilities • Perform deployment actions in networking, software, hardware, and servers. • Work with PC-based support systems, including software repairs, debugging, installation, and testing. • Independently perform work with direct customer contact and collaboration with international program teams. Formal Requirements • Minimum high school education, preferably with a technical focus in networking or computer and communication systems or equivalent. • Strong technical interest and computer skills, preferably in Office365, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar. • Fluent Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • Class B driver's license. • Swedish citizenship. • Previously unblemished record. Meritorious • Background in the Armed Forces. • Previous experience with Armed Forces command and communication systems.
