About the Role
As an Operations Operator, you will handle incoming fault reports and call out maintenance contractors for track, electrical, signal, and telecommunications issues. Operations Support is both a user and administrator of around 30 systems, including control systems, alarm monitoring systems, and case management systems. The goal is to minimize traffic disruptions in rail-bound transport by quickly and efficiently dispatching fault resolution resources.
As an Operations Operator at the Traffic Administration, you will be part of a team with an open atmosphere, where we care for each other and collectively ensure that our rail operations management functions safely and effectively.

As a person, you have a positive attitude, are structured, and communicate clearly and directly. You are someone who solves problems both in a group and independently when unforeseen events occur. Finally, you are humble and enjoy working in an open environment where your opinions are valued. You are unpretentious and sociable, with a good sense of humor.
You need to have a good geographical knowledge of the Stockholm area, especially regarding rail-bound transport. It is an advantage if you have used and traveled within Stockholm's public transport, as this will help you understand the overall picture of the different transport modes. Your communication skills are strong, both verbally and in writing.
Requirements:
- Completed upper secondary education
- A couple of years of experience in operational management in a control center, alarm center, operations operator environment, or equivalent
Meritorious:
- Post-secondary education in Control & Regulation Technology
- Post-secondary education in technical fields: track, electrical 400V, signal, telecommunications, property technology
- Experience working in the field within any of the technical areas: track, signal, telecommunications, property technology
- Experience working with and in SCADA systems
- Competence in Rail Scheduling
