Your Role:
We are now seeking a temporary Operations Operator for the Dam Safety and Water Management department. In our department, we handle dam safety issues, the operation of the Ryllshyttan reservoir, and water management and treatment.
As an Operations Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient and safe operation of our water treatment facilities and dams. You will be part of a two-person shift team, but tasks are primarily performed independently. The day starts together, where you distribute daily activities, set the plan, and identify any tasks requiring collaboration. The work is performed outdoors and follows a 7-7 day shift schedule.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and has an interest in technology and processes within water treatment and dams. To succeed in the role, we seek someone who is responsible, meticulous, and has good communication and collaboration skills.
The position is a one-year temporary role with the possibility of extension. Start date is as soon as possible by agreement.
Your Team:
You will become part of a team of four Operations Operators, divided into pairs per shift period. You will report to the Dam Operations Team Leader.
Your Responsibilities:
• Responsible for daily operation and maintenance, and participate in optimization of water treatment facilities and deposition systems
• Perform rounds/inspections at facilities with measurements and sampling
• Identify and address operational stops in the facilities
• Monitor and analyze processes and instruments, ensuring water treatment facilities and dams meet all environmental and quality requirements
• Work to maintain and follow safety and environmental regulations to ensure a sustainable and safe work environment
• Document workflows, results, and incidents, and follow up on relevant KPIs to ensure continuous improvement
Your Qualifications:
• High school education in a relevant field
• Document management such as Excel, Word, and Boliden's internal systems
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
• Swedish and English in writing and speech
• Class B driver's license
Meriting Qualifications:
• Experience working with water treatment and/or dams
